Sodexo Southern Africa are seeking a suitably qualified Dietician preferably local to the Gauteng area to join our team onsite.

 
The successful applicant will be responsible for (not limited to) the duties listed below:

  • To ensure the nutritional adequacy of the meals served to clients.

  • Assist with function catering.

  • To ensure quality control and improvement.

  • The assessment and education of patients on therapeutic diets and to prescribe individual diets, where needed.

  • To draw up all diet menu cycles and co-ordinate these in consultation with the Catering Manager and within client’s budget.

  • Hygiene checks to be completed once a month at the stipulated contracts.

  • The training of unit staff in the correct preparation, presentation and serving of special diets.

  • To liaise with doctors and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.

  • To compile and complete recipe bank of special diets.

  • The writing of diet-related pamphlets or brochures for patients and the training of staff.

  • To compile a standard manual with which to “sell” dietetic services to future clients.   The manual could also be used as reference by all units serving therapeutic diets.

  • To assist in the planning of diet-related promotions.

  • To conduct training on menu planning, nutritional requirement for specific age groups, fat free cooking methods and healthy alternatives.

  • To render information sessions relating to dietetics, food labelling and microbiological subjects.

  • Merchandising, design labelling, detailing nutritional content of all food items sold on our counters.

  • Help promote healthy eating, vegetarian menus, specials and high profit items in our staff restaurants.

  • Any other reasonable company request, to be carried out

Admin Assistant

 Sodexo Remote Sites are seeking a suitably qualified Electrician/Handyman preferably local to the Boddington area to join our team onsite.

This position is Drive in Drive out from Perth on an 8:6 Roster (8 days on 6 days off)
The successful applicant will be responsible for (not limited to) the duties listed below: •Assist in generating a preventative maintenance & inspection schedule to include all equipment associated with electrical requirements
•Complete maintenance and inspections as per the agreed schedule
•Attend to, and repair, all and any plant failures in a timely manner or as directed by the onsite Manager
•Record all inspections and repairs
•Maintain minimum agreed parts stock levels and to store inventory in a safe and clean environment
•Adhere to all regulatory, company and client-driven safety policies and procedures
•Conduct duties in a manner that comply with the business’ Environmental Policy and procedures
•General repairs and maintenance of specified areas onsite
•Ability to demonstrate competency in general handyman skills required to maintain a camp as instructed by Sodexo management.
•Complete general electrical maintenance work, refurbishments and ad hoc projects as required
•Completion of maintenance reports.
•Other duties as requested by your Project Manager
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT REQUIRES: •WA Fully Licensed Electrician
•Minimum 3 years experience in an Electrician position
•Current C Class WA drivers licence
•Basic administrational skills desirable
•Forklift license & Elevated Work Platforms desirable but not essential
•White Card essential
