To ensure efficient administration of the salaries by providing the necessary administrative support.
Your key responsibilities shall include:
- To ensure that the salaries are processed timeously for all the employees under one’s are of responsibility.
- Preparation of the monthly reports, processing payments and reconciling with the general ledger in respect of garnishee orders, social club contributions, union subscriptions and the bargaining council levies.
- Ensuring for the opening and updating of the personnel files
- Capturing the salaries input on the VIP system and ensuring that the rates of pay and deduc-tions are in line with the employment contracts, tax tables etc....
- Production of the final salaries per cost centre/ business unit.
- Preparation and distribution of the payslips.
- Ensuring that filing is kept up to date.
- Keeping abreast on all tax matters and the resultant updates on the VIP system
- Addressing the payroll queries promptly.
- Must have a minimum of three years working experience on the VIP Premier system.
- Must have a matric/grade 12 qualification.
- Must be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Must have leadership and conflict management skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
- Must have good planning and time management skills
- Ideally have own vehicle.
